The Lighthouse for Perthoffer crisis support to those age 12+, who are at risk with their mental health and live in Perth and Kinross.  This includes those who are at risk of suicide or self-injury, or those who find themselves in emotional distress or crisis. The Edinburgh Crisis Centre is for people who live in Edinburgh who are having a mental health crisis, and people who are caring for people with mental health issues. The Joshua Nolan Foundation offers support and advice to people living in Scotland of all ages and gender identity, who may identify as being at risk of or affected by suicide. www.joshuanolanfoundation.org/

Samaritans provide a safe place to talk 24 hours a day. Phone 116 123.

Grassroots Suicide prevention  have produced The Stay Alive app. This is a pocket app suicide prevention resource for the UK, packed full of useful information to help you stay safe. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide.

Papyrus is a national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. It operates HOPELINEUK which offers support and advice to young people (under 35 years) at risk of suicide. Phone 0800 068 41 41 every day 9 am to midnight. Text 0786 003 9967
